Wolf Angel reflects Dill’s interest in “visual harmonics,” which in turn express “an intuitive sense of spiritual and physical balance.” Wolf Angel pushes the viewer to conceive what they see in a radically different manner. The matte black curves and ovals are typical of Dill’s strongly vertical, yet curving angel series. Dill received his BFA at the Chouinard Institute of Art, Los Angeles, California.
